Swachh Vidyalya Campaign

The ‘Sawchh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya’ campaign was enthusiastically undertaken by the children of classes IX- XII in the month of October 2014. Following the precepts of Gandhi ji, students took a pledge for building a cleaner, greener and a healthier India, starting from the precincts of their own alma mater. A ‘Shram Daan’ activity was organized wherein the students undertook cleaning of their classrooms and school surroundings. Before allotting the respective work areas to children, the class teachers explained the significance of ‘shram daan’ & dignity of labour. The inspiration and exercise resulting in the green, spick & span campus was a treat to behold.
