DPS JAMMU CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM

The Management, staff and students of Delhi Public School, Jammu joined hands together to celebrate the Independence Day with great splendour, Joy and reverence for Mother India to pay homage to our freedom fighters and revolutionaries.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation’s tricolour balloons were released in the air by Principal, Headmistress, Admin Members and Coordinators depicting the significance of courage, renunciation, peace purity and prosperity. Headmistress, DPS Jammu, Ms. Meenu Gupta while presenting her welcome address remembered those great generations, who had worked for the country throughout their lives and inspired them to be the change they want to see in this progressing nation. The whole school was instilled with the spirit of patriotism. Many cultural programmes were organized on the eve of Independence Day. To keep alive the flame of patriotism, the students of Pre-primary wing performed a patriotic dance. The students also rendered a patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our motherland.
Addressing the gathering, Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, DPS Jammu urged the members of the DPS family to join hands to build a more prosperous and progressive India. On behalf of the school management, she conveyed her greetings on the occasion to all students, their parents and staff members.
On behalf of Tawi House, the Vote of thanks was presented by Vice House Master, Ms. Anu Bali. A profoundly gala manifestation was witnessed and everyone was appreciated for their whole hearted cooperation. It was indeed a day of joy, love and respect for the country and the students urged to make India a letter place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
All in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy.
