DPS, Jammu Students Excel in Badminton Championship

Bhavini Dalpathia of class VII-K of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning U/13 singles title in the 30th Jammu District Badminton Championship, organized by District Badminton Associations and Jammu City at Badminton Hall, Gulshan Ground Jammu, recently. She clinched winner trophy in under 13 group. She also bagged runners up trophy in U/13 doubles and U/15 Singles. This young talent of the school has also been selected to represent the state in the Nationals to be held in Maharashtra on 15th of Dec 2015.
In the boys section, Saviney Mengi of class X-E bagged winner trophy in U/17 Category. Both the students were facilitated in the assembly organized in the school premises.
Ms Ruchi Chabra, Principal of the school lauded the efforts of the achievers. Ms. Meenu Gupta Headmistress of the school also congratulated the students.
The Management of the school also congratulated the upcoming young talent of the school /state and wished them good luck for future.
