DPS Jammu celebrates Gurupurab

Delhi Public School Jammu organized a special assembly in the school premises, in order to celebrate Guru Purab on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Shahidi Divas of Guru Tej Bahadur Ji.
The Students informed the audience about the significance of Gurupurab and presented famous Hyms(Shabad), Mitr Pyaavay Nu, Satguru Nanak Pragat Hoyo, and Nanak Jyoti, filling the whole atmosphere with peace and tranquility. ‘Ek Omkar’ the Mool Mantra was followed by the ‘Shabads’.Later there was a group song dedicated to Gurus, lending the spiritual ambience to the whole scene.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms.Ruchi Chabra highlighted the importance of the occasion and advised the students to follow the path shown by the saints. She also extended festive greetings to all students and staff of the school on the auspicious occasion.
M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble President RCT, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Jammu and Sh. S. S. Sodhi Ji, Hon’ble Director DPS Jammu also conveyed their warm wishes to all, on the auspicious occasion.
