DPS, Jammu Bids Farewell to Twelthies

Today DPS Jammu organized a loving farewell for class 12 students. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed Principal ma’am, Ms. Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress. Ms. Meenu Gupta and the other dignitaries. It was followed by blessing ceremony in which a prayer was read by the Principal ma’am and the teachers as they blessed the gathered students. 11th class students welcomed the seniors with a welcome song which was followed by many energetic performances.
Many titles were given to the 12th class students and the most coveted Mr. and Ms. DPS title went to Amrit Bassan & Yashnika Sharma, Mr. and Ms Talent were Pranav Khatri & Shreya Razdan, Mr. and Ms. Farewell was won by Vasu Grover & Yamini Khandari.
At the end of the ceremony, Principal Ma’am wished all the students good luck for their exams and future. She stressed that the children must keep the spark of excitement and curiosity alive in them forever, because it helps a person achieve the unachievable. Ms. Meenu Gupta, The Headmistress Ma’am ,also blessed the students and gave her good wishes to them. Mr. Umesh, Co-ordinator, senior block addressed & blessed the children and wished them luck for all their future endeavours.
Lunch and DJ party was organized by the school for the students.
Students were also given momentos and best wishes cards as a parting token of love and remembrance by the school.
