SUMMER CAMP INAGURATED AT DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU

Much awaited “Summer Camp-2016” was inaugurated at DPS Jammu by the Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra on 6th June 2016. The Camp saw an overwhelming participation of 350 students from Classes II to VIII. The fortnight long camp offers rich experience in Sports, Art & Craft, Music (Instrumental & Vocal), Dance (Classical & Western), Debating, Writer’s Club, Prayas Club, Swimming, Self-defence,Technocrats, etc. Special coaches, trainers and expert faculty members will be holding sessions for students according to pre allotted schedule.
The School Ground was seen abuzz with exciting sports activities in Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, Self Defense, Yoga, Skating, Cricket and Swimming. There were over 21 Sports Teachers and Trainers present to sharpen the students’ skills in sports and as many faculty experts to hone the literacy and other skills among them.
Principal, Ms Ruchi Chabra conveyed that Summer Camp is about growth and accomplishments and wished them a great camping experience ahead. Headmistress Ms Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion. She also told the campers to enjoy the camp at the fullest.
