DPS JAMMU WON FIVE GOLD MEDALS IN INTER SCHOOL SWIMMING & TAEKWONDO COMPETITIONS

Delhi Public School, Jammu, students won Four Gold Medals in Inter School Swimming Competition (Under 19) organized by the Department of Youth Service and Sports, Jammu, held at M.A.Stadium on 22nd August 2016. Siddhant Sharma-XII B won two Gold Medals in 50mts Butterfly & 100 mts Free Style respectively, while Sananda Sharma-XII A won Two Gold Medals in 50 mts Breast Stroke & 50 mts Free Style. Sidhant Sharma & Sanada Sharma have been selected for the District Level, which is going to be held later. On other hand, Shivankar Mahajan got First Position in the First ever J & K Taekwondo Cup-2016, an Inter School Taekwondo Championship, organized by J & K Taekwondo Association, held at Brahman Sabha, Parade, from 19th August to 21st August 2016. .
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms Ruchi Chabra congratulated and lauded the efforts of all the winners, their parents and the coaches Ms Preeti Gupta, Ms Meenu Raghesh and Mr. Suresh for the achievement. Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta present on the occasion. Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Mr. S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to all the winners and their parents.
