DPS JAMMU WON DISTRICT LEVEL BADMINTON, TAEKWONDO & TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Delhi Public School, Jammu, students won District Level Badminton and Taekwondo Championships organized by the Department of Youth Service and Sports, Jammu, held at M.A.Stadium on 22nd & 23rd August 2016. Bhavini Dalpatia-VIII K won Two Gold Medals in Badminton (Singles & Doubles) and & Charvi Arora-VII C won Gold Medals in Badminton (Doubles). In Taekowndo, Vidhushi Jamwal-VIII F, got First Position in Free Style Event (Under 17, Girls Category). Bavini, Charvi & Vidhushi have been selected for the State Level, which is going to be held later.
In 2nd Stag Jammu(Open) Table Tennis Championship organized by Stag Academy, J & K, held at Stag Academy Nanak Nagar, from 19th August to 22nd August 2016, Ikhnoor-V A, won Table Tennis Titles, Under 12 Category(Girls) as well as Under 17 Category(Girls) and also won Second position in Under 14 Category(Girls), while Ragini-III H, won consolation Prize in Under 12 Category(Girls).
Principal, Ms Ruchi Chabra congratulated and lauded the efforts of all the winners, their parents and the coaches Ms Preeti Gupta, Ms Meenu Raghesh and Mr. Suresh for the achievement.
Headmistress, Ms Meenu Gupta, present on the occasion. Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Mr. S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to all the winners for their future endeavours and their parents.
