DPS JAMMU Students brought laurels in Inter School Table Tennis Championship

Delhi Public School, Jammu, students won Second J&K II even sports inter school table tennis championship organized by J&K Table Tennis Association under the auspices of Table Tennis federation of India, J&K State Sport Council. The competition was held at M.A Stadium from 29th to 31st August, 2016. The school won four gold & Seven bronze medals. In Junior girls category, Iknoor Kour V-K, Ragni Gupta III-A, Manveen Kour VI-E & Iyrus VII-J won gold medals. In Junior Boys Category, Priyash Singh VII-A, Manik mittal VI-D, Arya Veer Pandoh VII-A and Manan Mahajan VII-F won bronze medals. In senior Girls category Bronze medal was won by Sehaj Dubey VIII-D, Nasreen Fatima VIII-J and Suhasni Sharma VII-H. The team of Junior Girls have been selected for the National Level, which is going to be held later.
Ms Ruchi Chabra, Principal, congratulated the winners and applauded the performance of all the participants & coach Ms.Meenu Ragesh for their brilliant showcase of the skills and techniques. Headmistress Ms Meenu Gupta also conveyed her best wishes to them.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC DPS Jammu, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director DPS Jammu Mr. S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to all the participants, particularly the winners.
