DPS Jammu Joins in ‘SAY NO TO CRACKERS CAMPAIGN’

About 1500 students of Delhi Public School, Jammu joined in the pledge cum signature campaign initiated by REHAI, (freedom for animals) to promote the message of cracker free Diwali. Endorsins the cause were Ms. Malvika Kalra, social worker and founder member, REHAI,(freedom for animals) Ms. Radha Nagpal and Ms. Anju Jain her co-associates. Speaking on the occassion, Ms. Radha Nagpal talked about the hazardous effects of crackers on environment life and property. She also presented the recording of herself composed song on the theme, which was played in the background as students came forward to sign the pledge and took the oath of abstaining from burning crackers. Earlier all members were accorded a warm welcome by the Principal and the staff. Also present on the occasion were Ms. Meenu Gupta Headmistress, Mr. Ravi Kotroo, Dy Headmaster and all coordinators.
