DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL WON 2ND POSITION IN STATE LEVEL ON THE SPOT NHPC PAINTING COMPETITION

State level Inter School on the spot Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2016 was organized by NHPC Ltd, Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, at Brig Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu on 09.10.2016. Around 28434 students from 371 schools of J&K state participated in the school level competition in two categories.
Krishna Sharma of class VI-F won 2nd prize as cash award of Rs 15000/- in category A and Arshiya of class VII-A won consolation prize as cash Rs 5000/- in category B. The students received the award from Sh. R D Sharma Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu.
Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded the creativity, imagination and artistic skills of the winners and congratulated them, their parents and the teacher Mr. Suresh Sharma for the accomplishment. Headmistress Ms. Meenu Gupta also appreciated the students for their innovative and creative concept and congratulated them on their achievements.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Sh. S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
