DPS JAMMU WINS STATE LEVEL 'BHARAT KO JANO' QUIZ COMPETITION

Ishan Gupta of Class XI J and Subhag Sharma of IX H of Delhi Public School Jammu emerged as winners of the State Level Quiz – ‘Bharat Ko Jano’ in Senior Category by winning 1st position. There were total 11 teams from all over J&K in the Competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, held at GCW Parade, Jammu on 19th November, 2016. Mrs. Priya Sethi, MOS, was the Chief Guest, while Director Doordarshan and Principal, Govt. College for Women, Parade were the Guest of Honours. The DPS team will now represent the J&K state for the National Level event to be held in December at Rajasthan.

Principal, DPS Jammu Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded both the winners, their proud parents and the mentor teacher- Ms. Sheetal Kohli for the achievement. She also wished them luck for the upcoming National level event. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.

Hon’ble President RCT, Jammu, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Delhi Public School, Jammu, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director of the school, Sh. S S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their blessings to the winners and their parents.
