Governor Sh. N.N. Vohra Facilitated Students of DPS Jammu

Delhi Public School participated in on the spot painting competition orgabized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Language in collaboration with Rajya Sainik Board J&K to celebrate Armed Forces Flag Day and to pay homage to the noble martyrs. The theme of the competition was Indian Forces-Pride of the Nation.
Out of more than 100 participants from various educational institutions, Vrindalika Sharma of class II-D stood First while Aaisha Bandey of class II-L got consolation prize in the Infant Group. In the Junior Group, Prathmash Sharma of class V-I stood second. In the Junior Group , Vanshee Koul of class XI-E bagged the consolation prize in Senior Group.
The children were felicitated by the Governor J&K on Sh N.N. Vohra in a special function at Tiger Theatre, Satwari Chowk Jammu, on 6th Dec.2016.
Principal, DPS Jammu Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the children, their Art teacher Mr. Suresh and parent for the achievement and grand felicitation. Ms. Meenu Gupta, Headmistress DPS Jammu encouraged the children to keep up their good work.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S S Sodhi Ji appreciated the initiative and also conveyed their best wishes to all participants.
