An Educational tour to Hyderabad, Mysore and Bangaluru organised by Delhi Public school Jammu.

The school organized an educational tour to Hyderabad, Mysore and Bangaluru for 57 students from 09.01.2017 to 15.01.2017. The mode of journey was by air. The students were accompanied by Dy. Head Master Mr Ravi Kotroo, Chief Coordinator Mr Umesh Sharma, and four teachers Mr Ashwani Bakshi, Mr Nikhil Sardhalia, Ms Indu Bala and Ms Manisha Dubey. The group reached Hyderabad on 09.01.2017 at 11:00 p.m and straight away checked into the hotel.

On 10.01.2017, the students visited Salarjung Museum and were briefed about the contribution of Nawab Salarjung in the Indian history. On the same day students went to the famous Chaar Minar of Hyderabad and were explained about the history of Char Minar. In the evening the students went to see Qutab Shahi Tomb and the famous Golconda Fort. In the Golconda Fort the students saw the famous light and sound show pertaining to the history of the fort. The children really enjoyed this show.

On 11.01.2017, the students were taken to Ramoji Film City where various techniques of film making were shown to students and they also saw some famous film sets.

On 12.01.2017 the students left for Bangaluru, and from there the group left for Mysore. In the evening the students were taken to the Mysore Palace and a guide was hired to explain the students about the historical importance of the fort. After that the group saw the Bull Temple in Mysore.

On 13.01.2017 the students left for Bangaluru and after the local sightseeing, time for shopping was given to them on Brigade Road. The students also saw the Palace of Tipu Sultan and the Vidhan Sabha. In the evening a DJ party was organised for the students in the hotel.

On 14.01.2017 the students visited Wonderla Amusement Park in Bangaluru where the students enjoyed various water games and some fun rides. In the evening the students left for the Airport and boarded the flight back to Jammu.

On 15.01.2017 the students reached Jammu safely with Happy Memories of the tour.
