HOD ART, DPS JAMMU BRINGS LAURELS TO THE SCHOOL

Mr. Suresh Sharma, HOD, Art Department, DPS Jammu brought laurels to the institution by receiving Award of Appreciation from Hon’ble Governor J&K, Shri N N Vohra for promoting Fine Arts on canvas in the state. The Governor lauded his outstanding solo art display on Drug Menace at Gulshan Ground in a collaboration initiated by Indian Red Cross Society & J&K Fine Arts Society. Earlier, the same Exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of J&K Mehbooba Mufti who also complimented the work done by Mr. Suresh.
Mr. Suresh is working on spreading awareness on drug abuse for the last many years. He believes that the entire nation is facing great threat due to drug addiction and as an artist it is his duty to educate masses about the risk of drugs.
Principal Delhi Public Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Mr. Suresh for his noble initiative and the honour received. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta too expressed her appreciation.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Mr. S S Sodhi Ji conveyed their best wishes to Mr. Suresh for all his future endeavours.
