DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU HOLDS SPECIAL ASSEMBLY TO WELCOME THE NEW SESSION

A special assembly was conducted by DPS Jammu to welcome students to the next new class and the new session 2017-18, which was attended by students from primary, middle and senior wings and all faculty members. It was compered by Nitya Sehgal (XII E) & Ivanka Gupta (XII A) of Jhelum House, while the thought of the day, pledge & news were read by Nikshan (XII E), Mudit Sharma (XII E) & Ridhima (XII E), respectively. This was followed by soul stirring presentation by the school choir.
On behalf of the school Management viz: President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh Ji, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji and the Chairman DPS Society, New Delhi, Principal, DPS Jammu Ms Ruchi Chabra formally welcomed the entire DPS Family. She said that the past success should encourage us to achieve more and if there were any failures, these should encourage us to improve more. She exhorted the gathering to embrace the DIPSITE Spirit of taking all of life’s experiences in their stride and work together to keep the school flying high with full glory and splendor.
The assembly ended with the National Anthem and March past on the patriotic tune played by the school band.
