The Club members spent quality time with the old people and mothers at the ashram and gave them the supporting feel of the extended DPS family. The students presented small cultural program for them to break the monotony of their lives. The group cut the cake with them to celebrate the Mother’s Day and made it a long lasting memory of life for them. Though the group spent only few hours with them but it encouraged the students to undertake such visits often as it helps them to mould into a fine person. It was a highly emotional moment as the children gave away gifts comprising of daily utility items and hugged them with affection.

Principal DPS Jammu, Ms Ruchi Chabra urged the students to love and respect all elders in the family and community. She extended her best wishes to the members of the Prayas Club for organizing this programme.
