DPS JAMMU ORGANISED INTER-HOUSE BASKET BALL TOURNAMENT

Inter House Basket ball tournament for boys of classes IX to XII was organised by Delhi Public School, Jammu in its premises. Chenab House of DPS Jammu defeated Jhelum House in the final match. Earlier the event was played between the five Houses of the School namely Chenab, Jhelum, Tawi, Ganga and Yamuna Houses. Chenab House and Jhelum House reached upto the finals, wherein Chenab House defeated Jhelum House by a narrow margin of 1 point, the final score being (50/49). Umang Gupta & Sukhjit Singh of Chenab House and Aryaman of Jhelum House scored maximum number of baskets for their respective Houses and were declared the best performers of the tournament. The Winners and Runner’s up were felicitated during the special assembly organised in the School.
Principal DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and the Runner’s up. She also appreciated the hard work of the other participating teams.
Hon’ble President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director Sh. S S Sodhi ji also conveyed their best wishes to the winners.
