DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU EXCELS IN ‘ON THE SPOT CHILDREN MUSIC COMPETITION’

Students of DPS Jammu participated in ‘On the Spot Children Music Competition’ organised by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at K.L Saigal Hall on 6th Aug. 2017. Over 150 children from various schools participated in the competition and competed in Vocal (Classical / Folk) & Instrumental Music categories. The following children of DPS Jammu were awarded with certificates and cash awards:

• Sarvaan Gupta (IV-J) – 3rd Prize & Cash Rs. 750.
• Ridhima Bajpai (VI-E) - 1st Prize & Cash Rs. 1050.
• Saanvi Anand (V-A) – 2nd Prize & Cash Rs. 850.
• Sarthak Modi (VI-H) – 1st Prize & Cash Rs. 1050
• Gourang Abrol (VII-D) – 2nd Prize & Cash Rs. 825.
• Divyan Sharma (VIII-I) – 1st Prize & Cash Rs. 1500

Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and also lauded the efforts of Mr. Jai Paul Gill, Mr. Anil Baru and Mr. Daniel Sidhu, for training the students. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also extended her best wishes.
