DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU HOLDS SPECIAL ASSEMBLY TO CELEBRATE JANAMASHTAMI

DPS Jammu has organized a special assembly to celebrate festival of Janamashtami. The assembly began with the school prayer followed by a mesmerizing song by the school choir depicting the different childhood stages of Lord Krishna. The students then presented a foot tapping dance performance which depicted the teenage life of Lord Krishna with Gopis. While addressing the assembly, Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra enlightened the students about the life of Lord Krishna and motivated them to be like Krishna and Sudama. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta motivated the students to follow the right path always. The Assembly was anchored by Kritika of Class VIII-A and Arshiya of Class VIII-B while the vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Anchal Gupta. The special assembly was concluded with the National Anthem.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi conveyed their best wishes to students and staff on the occasion of Janamashtami.
