DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU ORGANIZES HINDI RECITATION COMPETITION

DPS Jammu organized Hindi Recitation Competition on Thursday 17th August 2017 for the students of Preparatory classes. Students participated in the competition with great zeal and conveyed their thoughts, feelings & love for their mother land through their poems. Seerat Chouhan and Arna Kohli of Class Prep A won first prize. Second prize was bagged by Kamya Gupta of Prep C & Vaydeesh of Prep A while third prize was shared by Namish Gupta of Prep E and Samoon Anjum Mir of Prep C. The consolation prizes were received by Abhiram Bharat (Prep D) and Krishiv Gupta (Prep D). The competition was adjudged by Ms. Meenakshi Jamwal. Ms. Preeti Abrol, Coordinator, Prep wing was also present on the occasion.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra appreciated the talents of the tiny tots and winners of the competition. She expressed the need of inculcating moral values, patriotism in the young generation, who are going to be the future of our country. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta congratulated the participants and the winners. She stressed on the importance of organising such academic programmes which offers an opportunity to develop competitive spirit in the students.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji also congratulated the young winners.
