DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU ORGANIZED INTER HOUSE VOLLEY BALL & CHESS TOURNAMENT

Inter House Volley Ball Tournament was organised by Delhi Public School, Jammu in its School premises for the Boys of classes IX to XII on 30th Aug. 2017. Five Houses of the School namely, Chenab House, Ganga House, Jhelum House, Tawi House and Yamuna House participated in the Tournament. The match was played on knock-out basis in which Ganga House and Yamuna House qualified for the finals. Ganga House defeated Yamuna House in the straight set of 2-0 and was declared as the winner while Yamuna House stood as Runner Up.
On the same day, the final match of Inter House Chess Tournament for Girls for the classes IX to XII was also held. Earlier, Five Houses of the school participated in the Tournament while the final match was played between Ganga House and Yamuna House. Aparna (XI-E) of Yamuna House Bagged 1st position while second position was won by Bhumi Thapar (IX-D) of Ganga House.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and the Runner Up. She also appreciated the hard work of the other participant teams.
Hon’ble President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh S.S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to all participants.
