DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL JAMMU ORGANIZES ‘SAVE ANIMALS’ RALLY

To inculcate love for all God made creatures, Prep wing of DPS Jammu organized ‘Save Animals’ Rally in the school premises. The rally passed through all the main areas of the school campus. The students carried banners having thought provoking quotes generating sensitivity towards wildlife. Children wore exotic animal masks and stopped at various points in the school campus and talked about the need to save animals from being hunted down illegally by the poachers. Some of the students also talked about cruelty towards animals, that they need space, not cage. The rally brought forth the sentiment not only to save animals but also to be kind and empathetic towards them.
Also present on the occasion was Coordinator, Pre-Pry wing, Ms. Preeti Abrol. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta emphasized on the need of conducting more such activities which inspire the toddlers to live in harmony with their environment.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra appreciated the efforts of the students and staff and urged the teachers to inculcate in children love and respect for all big and small creatures made by God.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji also conveyed their best wishes to staff and students for organizing such rally.
