DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMMU WINS 8TH STATE LEVELPAINTING COMPETITION 2017-18

Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning prestigiousstate level painting competition 2017-18 on “Water Conservation” organized byCentral Ground Water Board (CGWB), Ministry of Water Resources, RiverDevelopment and Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. of India held at Govt. Women’sCollege, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu on 28th February, 2018. Kritika Sharma (VIII-A) won 1st Prize and a cash award of Rs. 5000/- whileManya Didwal (VIII-D) and Suzain Iqbal (VII-G) received consolation prizes anda cash award of Rs. 2000/- each.Around 7362 students from various schools of J&K had participated in the saidcompetition. Sh. A.K Gandotra, Chief Engineer, PHE, the Chief Guest on theoccasion, felicitated the winners.Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and teacherincharge Mr. Suresh Sharma for their glorious achievement. Headmistress, Ms.Meenu Gupta also lauded them.Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC,Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh.
