DPS JAMMU ORGANISES HINDI RECITATION COMPETITION FOR THE STUDENTS OF CLASS II

DPS Jammu organized 'Hindi Recitation Competition' for the students of class II on 16 Aug. 2018. The topic of the event was 'Veer Ras'. The students showcased their talents by presenting a variety of good poems composed by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, Harivansh Rai Bachchan etc. The listeners were mesmerized by the confidence and enthusiasm exhibited by the students.

The first place went to Somanshi Singh (II-F) & Yasha Shree Sharma (II-A), Ujjwal Reet Kour (II-B) & Sanchi Gupta (II-E) stood second while the third prize was shared by Snigdha Aggarwal (II-G) & Nishtha (II-H). Consolation prizes were also given to Chirag Luthra (II-F), Aashreiya Sharma (II-i), Mohd. Numan Bhat (II-G) & Amber Raina (II-J).

The competition was judged by Ms. Rohina Gupta and Ms. Anuradha Rance.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal DPS, Jammu Ms. Ruchi chabra congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and stated such competitions offer an opportunity to develop competitive stills among the students.

Headmistress Ms. Meenu Gupta too applauded the students. Also present on the occasion was Ms. Sangeeta Jain, Coordinator, Primary wing.

The programme was compered by Ms. Pooja Pandoh.

Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
