DPS JAMMU STUDENTS SHINES IN 32ND STATE YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP

Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning gold, silver and bronze medals in 32nd State Yoga Championship organized by J&K State Yoga Association held at M.A Stadium, Jammu on 30th Oct. 2018. A total of 83 yoga players both boys & girls qualified in the district level out of which four students from DPS Jammu had been selected for state level and won medals in their respective categories. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Sh. Kavinder Gupta, former Dy. Chief Minister. The students who won medals are:-
• Tejasvi Jamwal (V-K) – Gold medal
• Manthan Sharma (V-D) – Silver medal
• Iva Bharti (VII-A) – Bronze medal
• Parima Sharma (V-F) – Bronze medal
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners, participants and their coach, Ms. Veena Chib, who also received a prize from the Chief Guest. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also lauded all of them.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to all the winners and their parents.
