DPS JAMMU CLINCHES MEDALS IN STATE ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

The young skaters of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by clinching gold, silver and bronze medals in State Roller Skating Championship 2018 organized by J&K Roller Skating Association held at Peer Kho, Jammu from 10-12 November, 2018. The details of the winners are as follows:-
• Aasim Abbas Khan (I-i) – 2 Gold medals in 500 mts. & 1000 mts.
• Mohd. Fahim Khan (II-C) – 1 Silver medal in 300 mts. & 1 Bronze medal in 500 mts.
• Shivanshi Nanda (IV-H) – 3 Silver medals in 500 mts, 1000 mts & 3 Km. race
• Shaurya Gupta (V-J) – 1 Silver medal in Roller Hockey
• Vansh Gupta (VI-F) – 1 Gold medal in Inline Hockey & 1 Silver medal in Roller Hockey
• Arshia Mahajan (VI-H) – 1 Silver medal in 500 mts. & 1 Silver medal in Roller Hockey
• Aditya Malhotra (VII-D) – 1 Silver medal in Roller Hockey
• Abhinav Anand (VIII-E) – 1 Gold medal in Inline Hockey & 1 Silver medal in Roller Hockey
• Hritik Gupta (X-G) – 1 Bronze medal in Roller Hockey
• Dhruv Gupta (XII-A) – 2 Gold medals in 1000 mts. & 3 kms.)
Further, all the students have also been selected for 56th Roller Skating Federation of India national 2018-19 to be held later.
Prinicipal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners, their parents and coach, Mr. Arnav Mahajan for the achievement. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also appreciated their performance.
