PANKHURI AGGARWAL, ALUMNA OF DPS JAMMU PUBLISHES HER FIRST BOOK

Pankhuri Aggarwal, Alumna of Delhi Public School, Jammu, Batch 2009 brought laurels to the school and her parents by publishing her first book of poems “The Petals of Reminiscence: A Step Back in Time”. It is a contemporary antidote offering candid explorations over the scuffling questions of how to find the true purpose of life? What is life without love? What does it mean to be lonesome? Why do we seek out for connections? It is a poetic collection of 101 poems, which takes one through all the nuances of life.
Pankhuri gives the credit of her success to her parents and all teachers of her school for providing an excellent knowledge base to her throughout her days at DPS Jammu. She thanked her teachers for instilling the creative literary streak in her during the early years of her life. It is noteworthy that earlier too, Laksh Kishore, young author of DPS Jammu had published a novel ‘Breakup with a smile’, while Sahaj Sabharwal of class XI-B had been selected for International Poet’s Event held at Hungary, Europe and Lakshay Gandotra too, won 3rd prize in International Kusamakura Haiku Competition-2018 organized online in Japan.
Pankhuri is a Gold Medalist in English Literature. She has completed her M.Phil and is currently pursuing her Ph.D in English Literature from University of Jammu.
Principal, DPS Jammu-Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Pankhuri for her achievement and encourage her to continue her literary pursuits with same zeal.
