DPS JAMMU EXCELS IN ALL INDIA ESSAY WRITING EVENT ORGANIZED BY SHRI RAM CHANDRA MISSION AT THE STATE LEVEL

Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning Certificate of Honor in All India Essay Writing Event organized by SHRI RAM CHANDRA MISSION in collaboration with UNITED NATIONS INFORMATION CENTRE FOR INDIA AND BHUTAN and HEARTFULNESS EDUCATION TRUST.
Thousands of students from all over India participated in the said competition out of which students from DPS Jammu also took part. The competition was organized with the aim to raise the students’ awareness and interest towards the various possibilities of time, to help them develop their physical and intellectual capabilities to their optimum extent and prepare them to thrive in competitive world. The topic of the essay was ‘There is a wisdom of the head, and a wisdom of the heart- Charles Dickens’. The students participated whole heartedly and enthusiastically and presented highly crafted out ideas. Shreya Sawhney of Class XII bagged 2nd position, Medhavi Tickoo of class XI stood 5th, Nipun Mahajan of class XI stood 7th, Mridul Ananad of class XI stood 8th in J&K State. Snigdha Jamwal, Ridham Jain, Swescha Rambal, Raghunandan Gupta, and Shivagi Sharma received ‘Honorable Mention’ in the said competition. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra applauded the literary effort of the students and encouraged them to continue their efforts in the literary field.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the achievers and their parents.
