DPS Jammu Hosts Enthralling Hindi Recitation Competition for Preparatory Class Students

In a bid to cultivate a love for poetry and language among young learners, Delhi Public School Jammu organized an engaging Hindi Recitation Competition exclusively for students of the Pre-Primary wing. The event was a delightful showcase of the budding talents' proficiency in expressing themselves in the Hindi language. The participants chose an array of themes for their recitations, such as Nature, Chandrayaan 3, Motherhood, Beti Bachao (Save the Girl Child), the Dowry System, and the Courage of Soldiers. These diverse topics not only reflected their passion for the Hindi language but also demonstrated their deep understanding of its intricate nuances.
The top honours in the competition were secured by Ivaanya Sharma of Class Prep-F and Hareem Fatima of Class Prep-E, who clinched the prestigious first prize. Following closely behind, Kyra Manchanda of Class Prep-B and Sobhagya Sharma of Class Prep-F earned the second prize. Meanwhile, Aarab Sameer of Class Prep-D and Keyan Gupta of Class Prep-F were awarded the third prize for their exceptional recitations. Acknowledging the efforts and talents of all participants, consolation prizes were also presented to Mehreen Khan of Class Prep-B and Tejasvini of Class Prep-E.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including the honourable President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, honourable PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Singh Ji, honourable Director-Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji and Principal Ms. Ruchi Chabra extended their heartfelt congratulations to both the winners and participants. They also expressed their gratitude to the dedicated teachers who worked tirelessly to prepare the students for this remarkable event.
The Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta, joined in the appreciation and applause, further emphasising the importance of such creative endeavours in nurturing the young minds of tomorrow.
