School Wins NHPC State Level Art Competition

The winners of NHPC State Level Art Competition –Vanshi Koul , class VIII (first prize) & Kritika Sharma, class IV(consolation) & Mr. Suresh, Art teacher were congratulated and extended best wishes by Additional Director and Principal Dr. (Mrs.) D. Joseph for bringing high accolades to the school in the field of Art. The competition was organized by national Hydroelectric Project Corporation (NHPC) ltd. on the topic ‘Energy Conservation – 2013’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu recently. Vanshi Koul won Ist Prize with a cash reward of Rs. 10,000/- in category B, out of 1,57,912 students from 2,249 schools of J&K while Kritika Sharma won a consolation prize with cash award of Rs. 2000/- in category A. Further, Vanshi Koul would represent J&K state in the national level competition to be held in December 2013 at New Delhi.
