DPS JAMMU ORGANIZES VIRTUAL WINTER CARNIVAL

Delhi Public School Jammu organized the much awaited Annual Winter Carnival in virtual mode on 3rd & 4th January, 2022 for the students of classes Pre-Nursery to II. The purpose of the Carnival was to offer the children, a platform to showcase their talent, enhance their memory and functional skills, build their self confidence, and help them understand the significance of coordination and collaboration.
The carnival with innumerable events, games and activities was held for a span of two days. The fun interaction, brought forth by this event, helped the participants to enjoy thoroughly, feel the excitement, bond with their friends, build relations and understand each other's perspective too.
The Carnival offered a wide variety of sporting events like “Dress to Impress”, “I am Genius”, “Magical Fingers”, "Book Balance Walk", "I know the Sound" and” Burst the Balloons." All of them were a great success, as children put forth their creative best, through their unique get ups and out of the box ideas. They were brimming with energy, excitement and happiness. The zeal and energy with which they played the games was indeed commendable.
Event like “Cook without Fire” provided the little chefs, the opportunity to show their culinary skills. The Winter Carnival was successful in beating the chill with thrill. It was one of its kind event, that brought delight and cheer to all the participants.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the students and the teachers for the successful conduct of virtual winter carnival. She also thanked the parents for their unconditional support and praised the students for presenting such amazing performances.
Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta lauded all the teachers and students for their active participation.
Hon’ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the children for their participation.
