DPS JAMMU HOLDS VACCINATION DRIVE FOR 15-18 YEAR OLD STUDENTS UNDER THE DIRECTIVE OF KUNWRANI RITU SINGH

As the COVID-19 vaccination drive for beneficiaries in the age bracket of 15-18 years was
launched in Jammu on Monday, 3rd January, 2022, Delhi Public School Jammu, under the
directive of its dynamic Pro Vice Chairperson Kunwrani Ritu Singh is aiming to inoculate
over 900 children from classes X to XII in the school premises from 4-6 January 2022, out
of which 360 students of Class X were vaccinated today i.e. Wednesday, 4th January, 2022.
The school has asked the parents of classes X, XI & XII to avail of this opportunity of getting
their children vaccinated at school and also issued guidelines for following COVID
Appropriate Behaviour.
All necessary arrangements were made at the school to ensure smooth vaccination drive,
such as demarcating different rooms for registration, vaccination, observation and waiting
area for the children and concerned Health Officers. The School Appointed COVID Team
also remained active throughout the day.
“It has been very heartening to work with the officers of the Health Department, they have
been very supportive in helping us build COVID-19 awareness, and carry out the
Vaccination Drive in the school successfully. It has also been very encouraging for us to see
children coming with a big smile to take their COVID-19 vaccination jab. We will carry this
forward in DPS Nagbani, DPS Katra and other schools as well," said Kunwrani Ritu Singh,
Pro-Vice Chairperson, DPS Jammu.”
The children will be eligible for the second dose after 28 days.
