DPS Jammu Celebrates 73rd Republic Day

Delhi Public School Jammu celebrated 73rd Republic Day with patriotic fervour and zeal. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Ms. Meenu Gupta Head mistress, DPS Jammu, who in her address emphasised on the need to impart education integrated with love & pride for one's nation.

Meanwhile, all students and teachers of classes I to XII participated in a virtual class assembly held on the occasion. The program included virtual flag hoisting, video presentation on National War Memorial, Intra- class Quiz, cultural items presentation, and artistic tribute to late Gen Bipin Rawat, India's first Chief of Defence Staff.

To celebrate the occasion, talented DIPSITES and teachers also put together cultural performances in the form of two videos - A Musical Tribute and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav which were shared on the school youtube channel and received great applause.

Earlier, to mark the 73rd Republic Day celebrations, tiny tots of classes I & II actively participated in online Role Play Activities with the help of their parents and teachers.They dressed up like Freedom Fighters and presented a colorful Role Play on leaders such as, Rani Laxmi Bai, Sarojini Naidu, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Subash Chander Bose and Bhagat Singh,etc.

Principal DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra extended her best wishes to all on the occasion.

 Hon'ble President, RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon'ble PVC, Kunwarani Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to students,parents and teachers on the occasion of Republic Day.
