Delhi Public school, Jammu outshines in SOF International GeneralKnowledge Olympiad.

Arya Bhalla (VII-H) of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school
and her parents by winning Gold medals in International General Knowledge
Olympiad, Zonal English Olympiad and Zonal Mathematics Olympiad organized by
Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) held online in the academic year 2020-21. She
also won a cash prize of Rs 12,500. Over 48000 school spread across 48 countries
registered for the world’s biggest Olympiad exam and millions of students appeared
in the said exam.
In addition to this, she also bagged trophy for Academic Excellence Scholarship
(2020-21) in the zone Himachal Pradesh, J&K and Ladakh.
While, Jagrit Rajpal from Class VIII-G stood first at the school level, seventh at the
zonal level and secured the 46th rank at international level, winning gifts worth Rs.
500, a Medal of Distinction and Certificate of Distinction, Shivansh Rana from class
VII-A stood second at school level and 113th at zonal level, whereas, Ruhani Bains
from class II-A secured first position at school level and 71st position at zonal level.
The Olympiad was organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) on 13th and 14th November, 2021, the result of which was declared recently.Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated Arya, her parents Vibha Piplani
and Manoj Bhalla and teacher incharge, Dr Paramjeet Singh for the glorious
achievement. President, RCT, MK Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and
Director, SS Sodhi extended their best wishes to Arya, Jagrit, Shivansh, Ruhani, and their parents
