DPS Jammu PVC Kuwrani Ritu Singh Felicitates Achievers of 2021-22 Session

To laud the efforts of the young achievers in various competitions held at state, national and international levels, Delhi Public School Jammu organized a Felicitation Ceremony at Hotel Hari Niwas Palace on Saturday, 23rd April. The event was presided over by Hon’ble Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Jammu, Founder Trustee, DPS Nagbani and DPS Katra, Trustee Rajput Charitable Trust, Founder Chairperson Maharaja Hari Singh Social & Education Foundation, Jammu, Chairperson, Ashok Kapur Foundation, Jammu, Founder Chairperson FICCI- FLO, Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Chapter, Vice President Kick Boxing Federation of India, Jammu & Kashmir. Also gracing the occasion as Guests of Honour were the two school alumnae-Ms. Neha Mahajan (Batch 2002-03), Lawyer, Social Activist, BJP General Secretary State, Member, FICCI FLO), and Dr. Anique Moghal (Batch 2012-13), a medico by profession and a writer by passion. He is also the author of a Poetry and illustration book called “Lucid Thoughts”.

Around 70 students of Primary, Middle, and the Senior Classes were felicitated during the ceremony for their exceptional achievements in the session 2021-2022. They were presented Mementoes of Appreciation for their outstanding performance in their respective fields of Art, Music, Sports, and Academics.
The event began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, invoking the presence of Maa Saraswati. Hon’ble Kuwarani Ritu Singh JI felicitated the young achievers of the various events by presenting them with a memento. In her address later, she congratulated the students for their achievements during the challenging Pandemic times and motivated them further to keep their school’s Flag flying high. She wonderfully emphasized the school’s motto “Service Before Self” and inspired everyone present there to be truthful to its meaning and carry forward the legacy of achievements.

Both the alumnae of DPS Jammu, Ms. Neha Mahajan, and Dr. Anique Moghal shared with the students the Mantra of success taught to them by their teachers at school. They were both
nostalgic about their school days. Dr. Anique also presented the author-signed copybook of his book “Lucid Thoughts” which is available on Amazon and notionpress.com.

Ridhima Bajpai of class X-A who had recently emerged as the winner of the “Choona Hai Aasman Season-6” grand finale mesmerized the audience with her beautiful song. The Senior Music Teacher Mr. Joy Paul too presented a song on demand for the alumnae. This was followed by a Cake Cutting Ceremony. The children expressed their gratitude to their management and teachers and expressed their pride to be part of this esteemed educational institution.


The event was compered by Ms. Rupali Sharma, Ms. Pooja Pandoh, Ms. Tanzeel and Ms. Moninder Kour. The event was coordinated by Ms. Vivek Nidhi and Ms. Neeraj Kaila, the senior faculty of the school. The Vote of thanks was given by Ms. Pooja Pandoh.
Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji and Principal, Delhi Public School Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra extended their blessings and said that the school is proud to have nurtured such brilliant and talented students and has set a new record for itself in procuring the remarkable results and achievements.
