DPS JAMMU ORGANIZES CAREER COUNSELING WORKSHOP FOR SENIOR SECONDARY CLASSES

Delhi Public School Jammu organized a two day Career Counseling workshop for the students of Classes IX & XI. Mr. Vaibhav Sharma, a Career Coach and Personality Trainer from Delhi was the resource person for the event. Headmaster, Mr. Ravi Kumar Kotroo inaugurated the session with a welcome note for the speaker.
The workshop was completely based on off-beat and unconventional career options available in the Job market. He showcased these opportunities through a presentation which acquainted the students to various lucrative careers ranging from Avionics to Open Source–Open Standard, from Mechatronics of Internet of Things, from Cyber Laws to Public Policy and from Auto Management to entrepreneurship.
He laid thrust on a real change in the thought process of the students about their selection of careers and to become a job provider instead of a job seeker.
To conclude the programme, Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma, Dy. Headmaster/Chief Coordinator presented the formal vote of thanks. The whole programme was coordinated by Ms. Neeraj Kaila, Academic Counselor, under the guidance of the Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra.
Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji congratulated the staff and students for the successful conduct of the workshop and extended their best wishes.
