PRATHAMANSH OF DPS JAMMU EXCELS IN NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE ART COMPETITION

Prathamansh Sharma (Class XI), a budding artist of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the institution and his parents by winning third prize in Category-A of Drishika National Level Science Art Competition IGNITE-2022 organized online by National Institute of Science Education and Research held at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. He has also received a Certificate of Achievement. The theme of the competition was “Country, women and science, what is it that comes to your mind?”
Prathamansh made a beautiful painting of late Indian-American Astronaut, Dr. Kalpana Chawla using medium such as Poster colours, Acrylic colours with dry brush on cartridge paper which received huge appreciation. Prathamansh has been inspired in childhood by his father Suresh Sharma, a renowned artist of Jammu.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Prathamansh & his parents and encouraged him to continue to excel in his artistic pursuits along with his studies.
