DPS Jammu organises INTER HOUSE PATRIOTIC GROUP SONG COMPETITON

In order to exhibit high order of gratitude and respect towards our dedicated freedom fighters and their selfless efforts which bestowed us with Independence, Delhi Public School, Jammu organized an Inter House Patriotic Group Song Competition in the school premises. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta, lauded the laborious efforts of the participants and the Music Deptt. for presenting befitting songs and bringing the feeling of patriotism in the whole campus. She urged the students to show their love for the Nation by performing their duties that are expected from good citizens of any Nation. The five houses – Chenab, Ganga, Jhelum, Tawi, Yamuna gave breathtaking performances. Melodies such as ‘Morcha Bikhar Na jaye, Hum Parcham Yeh Lehrayenge’ filled the air with patriotic feeling. The event was judged by Mr. David Masih. The Ganga House emerged as the winner. Ist and 2nd runners up positions were bagged by Tawi House and Yamuna House respectively.
