AASHUUTOSH MAHAJAN OF DPS JAMMU AWARDED AS THE BEST BATSMAN AND MAN OF THE SERIES IN CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Jammu Cricket team won Inter-Zonal U-19 Cricket Tournament under the Captaincy of Aashuutosh Mahajan (XI-G), a young cricketer and Sports Captain from Delhi Public School Jammu. He was also awarded the title of “Best Batsman” and “Man of the series” in the event. The Cricket tournament was organized by District Youth Services and Sports held at Khelgaon, Nagrota on 21st September, 2023. Aashuutosh had scored brilliant 218 runs in 4 Matches and had also took 3 Wickets. He has also received gold medal and glittering trophies.
In addition to this, Smriti Sharma of class XI-H also won first position and a gold medal in U-17 Archery Competition held at SMVD Sports Complex, Katra from 21-22 September, 2023. She had also received merit cum participation certificate.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu including hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, hon’ble PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji, hon’ble Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji along with Principal-Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated Aashuutosh & Smriti, their parents and coach, Mr. Sudesh Manhas for their splendid performances in the event. They also extended their best wishes for all their future endeavours.
