DPS JAMMU DOMINATES 92.7 BIG FM'S WORLD RIVERS DAY EVENT WITH IMPRESSIVE WINS IN INTER-SCHOOL QUIZ AND PAINTING COMPETITIONS

Delhi Public School, Jammu, showcased its academic excellence and artistic prowess at the World Rivers Day celebration hosted by 92.7 Big FM on Sunday, September 24th, at the scenic Bikram Chowk, Tawi Ghat in Jammu. The event, dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of rivers, featured an Inter-school painting competition and a quiz competition, drawing students from various schools in the region.
In the painting competition, where students from classes VIII to XII exhibited their artistic talents, Sachika Gupta from DPS Jammu clinched the coveted first prize with a masterpiece that vividly depicted the breath-taking rivers of Jammu and Kashmir. Rupank Gupta received a well-deserved consolation prize for his outstanding contribution.
In the quiz competition, the students' knowledge about the rivers of Jammu and Kashmir was put to the test. DPS Jammu once again emerged victorious, securing the first position. Arihant Manhas of Class X and Jenna Nuryn of Class VIII showcased their exceptional quizzing skills and claimed the top spot.
The event, held at the enchanting Tawi Banks in the evening, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who took their own colors and stationery for the painting competition. The theme for both events centered around the rivers of Jammu and Kashmir, aligning perfectly with the occasion's purpose.
Certificates of participation will be awarded to all participants, celebrating their dedication and enthusiasm.
The esteemed management, DPS Jammu comprising the honourable President-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, the distinguished PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji, the honourable Director-Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji, extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the participants, the Principal and the school staff for their outstanding achievements in both the quiz and painting competitions. They also encouraged nurturing and showcasing the remarkable talents of its students, fostering a culture of excellence in every endeavour at school.
