Excitement Galore ! Trip To Amritsar And Jalandhar

Every destination has a lot to offer, be it an adventure, our heritage a forgotten tradition , excitement or much more. Delhi Public school Jammu organized a three day school trip to Amritsar and Jalandhar from 15th Jan to 17th Jan, 2015 exclusively for the students of classes IV o VI. The students were escorted by Mrs Rimpy Sharma and Mrs Rohina Gupta. The trip started on 15th Jan 2015 for the destination, Amritsar. The students went to Wagah Border and attended ‘The Beating Retreat Ceremony’. They were overwhelmed with a sense of patriotism as they passionately observed the soldiers of both the countries lowering their flags. The next morning, they headed towards the Golden temple and Jallianwala Bagh. At Jalandhar they visited Pushpa Gujral Science City where they got the chance to see Room Theatre, 3-D Cinema, Laser Show, Dinosaur Park, etc.
