JKRA President Sodhi Celebrates Shooting Star Raveena Jangid's Remarkable Triumph at All India Open Competition at New Delhi

In a remarkable display of skill and precision, Raveena Jangid, a member of the SMVDSB Shooting Club Katra ,in Reasi District, showcased her exceptional shooting prowess by securing three medals in various categories in All India Open Competition for air weapons recently held at in New Delhi.

Raveena’s dedication and hard work paid off, as she won 2 coveted Gold Medals in Air Rifle in the Sub Youth and Youth Air Rifle Women category, making her a rising star in the world of shooting sports. She also won a well-deserved Silver Medal in the Junior Air Rifle Women category displaying her remarkable shooting skills.

Congratulating Raveena for her outstanding performance, Sh. S. S. Sodhi, President J&K Rifle Association said that Raveena has made the UT of J&K proud by clinching three prestigious medals through her dedication, hard work, and the consistent support that she has received from her family, coaches, and the SMVDSB Shooting Club Katra. Her milestone achievements under different categories, will surely inspire budding shooters in the region, especially girls in Jammu & Kashmir and across the nation to take up shooting as their preferred sports.

It is noteworthy that JKRA has been consistently producing young shooters from Jammu & Kashmir and honing their ability to compete at the highest level on the national stage.
