DPS JAMMU ORGANIZES FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOP

In an effort to enhance financial literacy and to empower the female staff, Delhi Public School Jammu, in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), organized a comprehensive workshop on Financial Management on 4th November, 2023 in the school premises. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Nitin Gupta, CBSE trainer on Financial Literacy, who provided valuable insights into financial planning and investment.
The event commenced with a potted plant and memento presentation to the Resource Person by the Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Headmaster, Mr. Ravi Kumar Kotroo, who highlighted the significance of financial literacy and its role in building a secure future. He emphasized the importance of knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions.
The workshop featured two informative sessions, each focused on various aspects of financial planning and management. Both the sessions delved into different schemes and policies available for saving and investing money, providing the teachers with valuable insights into their financial future.
The workshop provided a platform for the female staff members to interact, learn, and discuss financial matters that often remain unaddressed and witnessed an engaging and informative discussion on a wide range of financial schemes and policies, ensuring that the participants left with a comprehensive understanding of their financial options.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks given by Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma, Dy. Headmaster.
The whole event was compered by Ms. Ambika Sharma. The workshop was ended with instrumental national anthem.
