DPS JAMMU BRINGS LAURELS IN INTER DPS NATIONAL SCIENCE & COMMERCE FESTIVAL

Delhi Public School Jammu, emerged second at the Inter-DPS National Science & Commerce Festival, "Vigvanijya," held from November 22-24, 2023, at DPS Azad Nagar, Kanpur. The festival, organized by The Delhi Public Society, New Delhi, saw a unique interdisciplinary amalgamation of Science and Commerce fields and witnessed participation from 34 renowned DPS schools across India, showcasing the brilliant minds of 136 students from both Science and Commerce backgrounds.
The Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to their school by bagging overall 2nd position out of 34 teams in the competition comprising following events: Scicomblitz (Quiz), Sixty Seconds Wonder (JAM), Techpreneur (Live Demo + B Plan), Jaago aur Jagao (Nukkad Natak), Scivogue (Fashion Show), Robomania (Robowar and Roborace), Fintoons (Financial Cartoons) and Imageastro (Astro Photography). Judged on parameters including content, concept clarity and description, presentation skills, uniqueness, originality, theme relevance, spontaneity, and confidence, the team DPS Jammu, consisting of Harshit Mengi (XII-E), Atharv Jaggi (XII-F), Aarush Gandotra (XI-A), and Parikansh Rakwal (XI-A), delivered outstanding performances and received appreciation from judges and fellow participants.
The team was accompanied by Ms. Jyoti Pallalia and received valuable home support from the student council members- Manya Sharma (XI-B), Manya Targotra (X-C), Dhruv Raj (XI-D), Arindam Sharma (XI-B), Art Teachers, Ms. Marvi Sharma and Ms. Shipra Pathania, and Science & Commerce teachers, Ms. Manika Verma and Ms. Neeraj Kaila.
Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson, commended the remarkable achievement and expressed her hearty congratulations and appreciation for the students, their support team, Principal, and staff of DPS Jammu.
