DPS JAMMU STUDENTS EXCEL IN U.T. LEVEL ATHLETICS AND NATIONAL LEVEL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Students of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by securing positions and winning silver medals in 22nd J&K U.T. Athletics Championships 2024 organized by J&K Amateur Athletics Association held at University of Jammu from 20-21 August, 2024. The details of the students are as follows:
• Kritika Charak (XI-F) – Silver medal in 100 mts U-17 girls category
• Jaiveer Singh (VII-C) – Silver medal in 60 mts U-12 boys category
• Ishaanveer Singh (III-D) – Silver medal in 60 mts U-8 boys category
In another event, Gunsheen Kour (X-G), the only girl from DPS Jammu, also represented J&K U.T. in 74th Junior National Basketball Championship (Men & Women) organized by Basketball Federation of India held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh from 8-14 May, 2024. She had also received Certificate of Participation.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, Hon’ble Preident-RCT, Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji, distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director-Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated all the winners, participants and their parents. They also extended their best wishes to them for all their future endeavours.
