Educational Tour to Mumbai and Goa during the Summer Break

The school organized an educational tour to Mumbai and Goa from 17th June to 23rd June 2015 for classes VI to XII. Forty two students along with three teachers Mr Ravi Kotroo, Mr Umesh Sharma and Ms Indu Bala accompanied the students. The students left for Mumbai on 17th June in Go Air Flight at 3:15 p.m and reached Mumbai at 6:30 p.m. On 18th June the students went to Water Kingdom where they explored various water sports. The next day i.e 19th June the students went to see the tourist points of Mumbai. They saw The Gate Way Of India where the historical value of the place was explained to students by the teachers. They also went to Juhu Beach, Niraman Point, The Taj Hotel, The Famous Mumbai Sea Link, which was a new experience for our kids. On the same evening the children left for Goa in Volvo bus by Road. On 20th June, the students went to see Baga Beach, where the concept of High Tides was explained to the students. In the evening the students enjoyed a ride of Cruise on Mandovi river. The students experienced the nature at its best when they saw the river water entering the Arabian Sea . On 21st June the Children Saw the Calingute Beach, the Vagator Beach, the Coloba Beach, The Dono Pola Beach and the famous Fort Agora where the prisoners of war were kept in Goa during the Portuguese rule. The students were also shown the Red Soil in Goa and the process of formation of this soil. The students left for Mumbai on 22nd June in the afternoon by road and on 23rd June 2015 boarded the Go Air flight from Chhatarpati Shivaji Airport Mumbai to Jammu. The tour ended with Happy Memories.
