DPS JAMMU ORGANIZED HINDI RECITATION COMPETITION

A rhythmical creation of beauty in words, an art of uniting pleasure with truth is poetry. The children enjoyed the beauty of rhyme and rhythm. Taking this into consideration, the ‘Hindi Recitation Competition’ was organized for the students of class II. The theme for the event was ‘Patriotism’. The students presented variety of interesting poems with good introduction and presentation. The listeners were mesmerized by the confidence exhibited by the students as they recited the poems with great enthusiasm.
Ayan Bhola and Aayat Fatima stood Ist, Apoorva Dalwat and Katyani Pandotra got 2nd prize, Parima Sharma and Suhavi Mahajan stood IIIrd and Jagrit Kumar and Sarvaan Gupta got consolation prize. The competition was adjudged by Ms. Seema Tuli and Ms. Payal Tandon.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Meenu Gupta, Headmistress, DPS Jammu congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and stated that such competitions offer an opportunity to develop competitive spirit in the students and help them to learn with fun.
Principal, Ms. Ruchi Chabra, DPS Jammu congratulated the winners and wished them for their bright future.
