DPS organized an ‘Inter-House Debate Competition’

To bring out the best in students, Delhi Public School, Jammu organized an Inter House Debate Competition’ for classes VI-VIII in the school premises here today. The aim of the competition was to let the students express their views independently on the topic “Is strike the ultimate solution of any problem?” Two students from each of the five houses debated in favour and against the motion. The listeners were impressed by the confidence exhibited by the students as they voiced their opinion about strike in strong and powerful words.
Master Abbu of class VIII( Chenab House) bagged the first position while Master Shubang of class VII( Tawi House) and Miss Manya of class VI (Ganga House)won 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The competition was adjudged by Ms. Randeep Kour and Ms. Veena Kumari, teachers of the school.
While addressing the students, Headmistress Ms. Meenu Gupta urged the teachers to train more and more students to reach the pinnacle and bring glory to the school and their parents too.
Ms. Ruchi Chabra, Principal DPS Jammu lauded the effort of the students and congratulated them for their brilliant performance.
