DPS Jammu celebrated Teacher’s Day

The entire staff of Delhi Public School Jammu, celebrated the great occasion – Teachers Day with great fun and frolic, like every year.
The function started with great enthusiasm with the Traditional Lamp Lightening by the Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra. Head Girl, Head Boy and the cabinet of the school presented the Bouquets to the Principal, Headmistress Co-ordinators and Administrative staff of the school. The students presented various cultural programmes that included melodious instrumental song, funny fusion dance, group song, band performance etc.
The school Magazine ‘Kriti was also launched by the Principal and other senior staff members of the school to give a vent to the creativity and innovation of the students of the school.
On this auspicious occasion M.K. Ajatshatru Singh Ji ,Hon’ble President Rajput Charitable Trust Jammu was the Chief Guest and Mr. S.S. Sodhi Guest of Honour. Mr. C. L Malhotra, Mr. S.S.Jamwal, Mr. Suminder Singh and Mr. R.C Gupta were also present. Floral tributes were also paid to Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan,the Former President of India, by the Chief Guest, Guest of honour , Principal DPS Jammu, Headmistress, Admin staff, coordinators and others .
The programme was conducted by Ms. Ridhima Gupta, Ms.Urfe, and Ms. Harshita Singh. Many games were arranged for the entertainment of the teachers. Parody for teachers was presented by the Music department.
Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble Chief Guest M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, congratulated the teachers for their hardwork, dedication and commitment. He also advised the teachers to carry forward the legacy with discipline so that the students of the school become disciplined citizens of the country.
To acknowledge the efforts of teachers gifts were also distributed among the teachers. Last but not the least lavish lunch was also served to them on the auspicious occasion.
